CHALLENGE

Facilitate the inspection for officials in urban areas.

SOLUTION

The PX1 allows for complete inspection of the area, without the need of coming into physical contact with anything, being able to examine vehicles, mailboxes, garbage containers, and other elements typical of an urban environment, all in a really short time.

RESULTS

1

Access to inspection spaces where officials cannot normally reach.
2

Increase in the inspections’ precision of spaces and areas checked.
3

Increase in the probability of illicit item detection during inspections.
4

Increase in the officers’ personal and legal safety.
5

Ability to thoroughly inspect any vehicle or object in the street without the owner present.

The PX1’s penetration capabilities easily allow for a complete inspection of the existing elements in a street, facilitating the observation of hidden compartments, without the need to open doors or move any elements during the search.

The speed with which a scan can be performed with the PX1 is fast, allowing for higher performance of officials by supporting the increase in the coverage of streets, elements, and spaces per time.

The power in Videray’s backscatter PX1 substantially increments the inspections’ probabilities of success conducted during missions and patrol operations of streets and urban spaces in general.

The inspections could be conducted virtually continuously, thanks to the PX1’s high portability which allows an official to carry the equipment using the harness system without any help.

The group of filters offered by the PX1 enables officials to improve the images’ quality during inspections of surfaces, objects, and areas, facilitating the detection of drugs, weapons, or research items that could be hidden.

The ability to inspect an automotive, object, or good in a street without having to come into physical contact with it legally protects an official of any events where the facts could be manipulated and statements related to misappropriation of property or improper employment of force during the inspection that caused damage to private property.
